Prepping for Your Big Day
As you prepare for the next phase of your professional journey, we want to ensure you have all the details to ensure your celebration is stress-free and fun.
This fee covers the processes for awarding the university graduates their diplomas, including the ordering of the diploma. This one-time fee will show on your bursar account in the term before the term in which you are graduating.
The CVM curriculum is Pass/Fail; therefore, no GPA is reported.
The date the degree is officially awarded is not the graduation date. The Office of the Registrar cannot award before the conferral date.
The graduation/commencement date is the celebration of the awarding of the diploma. The conferral date is when the degree is officially awarded.
Currently, all CVM degrees are awarded manually; please allow 3 to 4 weeks for processing.
Check the Graduation Status in UAccess Student Center to find the status. The degree award date will correspond with that term's Main Campus Conferral dates.
If you have not provided a Diploma Name in the UAccess Student Center, the name printed on the diploma will default to the Primary Name. Please consider that professional licensing requirements require you to use your legal name. Changes to your last name require an Official Name Change.
See the resource guide for additional information:
Diplomas are mailed to the Permanent Address listed in UAccess if you have not added a Diploma Address. Please check to make sure your diploma is mailed to the correct address.
