About Dr. Bowens

Dr. Bowens is a fellowship & residency trained in Veterinary Neurology & Neurosurgery. A graduate of Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine (TUCVM) in 2003, Dr. Bowens then completed an academic small animal internship and then a specialty fellowship in Neurology & Neurosurgery and a Neurology & Neurosurgery residency at the Universität of Zürich (UZH) in Switzerland. Over the past 15 years, Dr. Bowens has passionately served as an Adjunct Clinical Neurology Instructor/Lecturer (at TUCVM) and providing Locum Veterinary Neurology & Neurosurgery services (BLVNS); helping to diagnose, manage and treat companion animals (dogs & cats) of various neurological diseases.
