The Mary Jane McMillen Crowe Student Success and Wellness Center embodies our commitment to fostering a culture of wellness through a comprehensive approach. We support the long-term success of our students by providing the resources they need to grow into well-rounded professionals. The center offers access to counselors and wellness professionals, as well as comfortable spaces to study or unwind between classes. Students can also enjoy amenities such as exercise equipment, yoga and meditation rooms, and an outdoor study area designed to promote both physical and mental well-being.

Behavior Health Counselor

Amanda Hall, MSW, LCSW
Amanda Hall is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with eight years of experience in the field. She has worked in community social work across Minnesota, Missouri, and North Carolina, and in recent years has focused on student support within university settings. Amanda previously served as an embedded counselor for the School of Medicine at UNC-Chapel Hill, an experience that sparked her passion for supporting students in rigorous academic programs.

She takes an integrative, person-centered approach to counseling, tailoring support to fit each student's unique needs. Amanda is especially attentive to how personal identities and environments intersect, and she incorporates elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Self-Compassion, and Trauma-Informed CBT in her work.

Outside of her professional life, Amanda enjoys exploring new places, cooking, attending live music events, and connecting with others.

Mental Health Clinician

Eric Saunders, LCSW
Erica is a licensed clinician who has supported the mental well-being of the Arizona community for over 20 years. With a strong background in academic settings, she helps students manage stress, build resilience, and thrive both personally and professionally. As a trauma-informed clinical therapist, Erica specializes in areas such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues (including structures and preferences), identity formation, LGBTQIA+ support, neurodivergence, life transitions, grief, and childhood trauma.

She values a person-centered approach, drawing from mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic experiencing. Across all her work, Erica emphasizes the vital connection between mind and body in promoting overall mental well-being.
