Lecture Overview: For thousands of years, dogs have lived alongside humans, transitioning from hunting partners to cherished companions. But what makes dogs so adept at thriving in a human-centric world? How do humans and dogs seemingly bridge the species divide to communicate so effectively? Dr. Bray and Dr. MacLean will delve into these questions and more, presenting cutting-edge research and insights into the unique bond between humans and dogs.
Lecture Series Information
This four-part series will run throughout the month of March as we explore various aspects of communication — from dog-human communication, to bilingual communication, to A.I. and computer communication, and what extraterrestrial communication from the cosmos might look like.
