Meet Our Clinical Year Leads

Tina Tran, DVM
Associate Professor, Clinical Relations Lead Veterinarian
Dr. Tran received her veterinary degree at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and has extensive experience as a small animal associate in multi-doctor practices, small animal relief/locum work, and shelter medicine. In addition, she served as a faculty member at Portland Community College and Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine's veterinary technology programs. Before joining the Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020, Dr. Tran started her house call practice and worked as a veterinary telehealth consultant for Ask Vet. Her experience and passion for giving back to the veterinary community have led to her serving in volunteer roles with the Multicultural Veterinary Medical Association (MCVMA), AzVMA, Arizona Veterinary Medical Examining Board, and the AVMA.
Don Rollins, DVM
Associate Professor, Clinical Relations Lead Veterinarian
Dr. Rollins was born and raised in Kansas, graduated from Kansas State, and began a mixed animal practice near Kansas City. Upon moving to Arizona, he served as the Program Director for Kaplan College’s Vet Tech Program and then returned to private practice and opened two hospitals for AZ Pet Vet in Phoenix. After hearing about the Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine and its new practical approach to teaching, he joined in March 2020, intending to pass on what he has learned to the next generation.
