About Me

I’ve lived in Tucson off and on for 10 years now, and my husband is a Tucson native. As a two-time graduate from the U of A, I have a soft spot for Tucson and am proud to live in such a vibrant, lively, and entertaining city. We have one son, two dogs, and a house and backyard covered in toys. Before joining the U of A, I worked in the private sector for several years and was a high school English teacher.

What do you like to do for fun?

I spend most of my free time with my family. We love riding bikes, swimming, and going on walks with our dogs. Tucson is the best place for outdoor adventuring! We aren’t just about the athletic activities though, and enjoy our fair share of reading and watching our favorite TV shows.

What excites you about this position?

I love learning, teaching, helping others teach, and being at the U of A! This position gives me the opportunity to do all that, along with a great group of people, and I’m excited to see the growth in the College of Veterinary Medicine during its first year.
