CVM Mental Health Program

In honor of May’s Mental Health Awareness Month, we are so pleased to announce the development of our new CVM Mental Health Program.

University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine Mental Health Program offers free and confidential mental health services. We strive to create an aware and educated community of students, faculty, and staff that values mental health wellness.

Our program will offer services including:

  • Individual Therapy
  • Group Therapy and Support Groups
  • Referrals to UA and Tucson Community resources
  • Psychiatric Services (Upcoming)
  • Mental Health Trainings including Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Frist Aid
  • Mental Health Presentations and Workshops

Intake appointments may be scheduled directly via our website with a confidential form. Additional information on mental health services and resources may be found on the website.

In addition, UA CVM students are eligible for UA main campus resources including Counseling and Psychological  Services (CAPS). For more information and to schedule an appointment, please go to:

Please be on the lookout for upcoming presentations including Meditation and Mindfulness to decrease anxiety; QPR Suicide Prevention Trainings and a collaborative workshop with Owl on Test Anxiety.
